Once again l am trying to sell my 89 8v TC. The car is in excellent condition with 65k miles. This was my wife's car and has been to a couple of regional TC America meets in Reno. This car is complete in every way with all manuals, tool kit, umbrella, and service manual. The car is yellow with ginger interior and black soft top. Leather is in above average condition. This is an extremely clean vehicle with no rust. It runs very well and has updated air con with new compressor and new tires. Everything works as original including brake system. A Nardi steering wheel and interior cover are included. The only inop item is the radio which had been repaired but didn't last. I'm sorry to say that due to a pending international move (retirement) I must part with my TCs. I have 3 89s, 2 16v and one 8v. 1 16v, 105000 miles and the 8v, 57000 miles are in great condition, everything works as it should, including the odometers. The other 16 v(140000 miles)is a daily driver but the paint is poor (Repainted in BRG prior to my purchase) however the engine is excellent and the car has new shocks, brakes, etc. You can't find a better parts car that you can drive home! In addition I have a large spare parts inventory including headlights and other parts plus a hardtop lift as well as storage racks. Also both clean vehicles have documentation, umbrellas, tool kits, shop manuals, everything you need. I would like to see about $15,000 for everything. Good afternoon, I Need some assistance with analyzing a problem. My 16V was running perfectly until I took it into the shop to replace the AC compressor in preparation for my trip to Alaska on next Tuesday (8 Apr). While in the shop I had the timing belt and water pump replaced. When I picked the car up I immediately noticed that the engine, below 2000 RPM would not accelerate normally, coughing and being "herky jerky" (that is a real word) below 2000 rpm. Above it accelerates but does not seem to have the power it had a week ago. Hard to tell but I think it is also not smooth at higher rpm as well. My first thought is that there was a vacuum leak, however the engine is still pulling about 16 lbs at idle. Now I am thinking that perhaps the cams are not properly aligned. Any thoughts/ideas will be appreciated. I have told the shop there is a problem and would like to go back with an opinion from the forum. I have only 3 weekdays to fix. As always, regards, Bill

Thanks Bill, I'll pull it apart next week after I get the plug seals and see what I can do. In the old days gasket material and a ballpeen hammer was all that was needed. Happy Holidays

Rick has no extra sets at this time. A shop installed the last set on my other 16v when I was out of the country so I have not physically seen the gaskets. Can I cut my own? Rick did have the plug valley seals. Any info is appreciated. Happy Holidays.

Thanks Digger, I checked Rock Auto but no Head Cover gasket sets so I am still searching. Getting harder to find but I know there are sets out there somewhere. Happy Holidays.

I need a cylinder head cover gasket and valley seals for my 16v. Anyone know where these might possibly be found? Any info will be appreciated. Finally had to put my top up a week ago. Wx has been fantastic here in Northern CA. Happy holidays and may you all have a great new year.

Hi John, A Pioneer DEH-P47DH is a 1.5 DIN AM/FM/CD with aux inputs and will fit right in with no modifications. You can also buy the wiring harness (if it is not included) for Chrysler/Dodge to connect to the TC plugs. Simple installation and you can find both on eBay.
