Guest John1918
Jan Arnett's pic on the '24 hub bolt posting reminded me that I'm looking for a source of new rim bolts and nuts for a 1919 25" wheel and a 1925 20" wheel. Sizes are 2+7/8" and 3+1/8" long x 7/16" UNF -see atachment. New high tensile Ford T spare bolts are available but they are just 1/4" too short for the 25" wheel and the T spares suppliers won't say where they get them from. If we could find out where they are manufactured we might get them to make a longer version. The T nuts are right for the 20" wheel but expensive. Cheers, JohnP.S. I also included in the pic a 3/8" oval headed boss bolt which is the subject of another posting
1924DB
Thanks for the side pic of the boss bolt. I lightened the pic up a bit and can see the knurling on the shank. Thanks to you and Jan for this information. Ron
