Hi guys....I'm having trouble locating anyone who makes a wiring harness for my 90.

I'm currently installing an aftermarket Pioneer radio (1.5 din) but I need a wiring harness

that will plug ito the 4 connectors that i unplugged from the original radio.

I checked the ABC Warehouse site but I cant find what I'm looking for. I checked with Metra

(and a few other manufacturer's) but none make a harness for my car.

Anyone out there have an actual brand/part number for a harness?

Thanks, Kit / 90 Coupe / 86 Fiero GT

Your in luck, I just did the same install yesterday. I bought the harness from cardomain.com. Scosche part number SCOGM02B AND SCHOMDA1B (for the ant.). The harness is about $10.00 and the ant converter about $5.00 (free shipping). The harness is not perfect. There are 4 plugs in the stock harness. One is for the the front speakers, one for the rear, one for the power and one for the CD. I did not use the CD plug on the Reatta harness. I believe the pink wire on the stock goes to the power ant. (blue on the deck). I put in a larger power wire, because the stock wire seemed way too small. It is a PITA to run wire in this car.

Good Luck,

Thanks for the info on the harness! I just ordered one... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I already have the antenna adaptor. Got it at Fry's yesterday but it

was $12.99. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> (Metra #40-GM1)

Anyways, my car doesnt have the optional CD slave so I'm assuming

that I dont use the factory CD connector you were referring to??

Thanks, Kit / 90 Coupe / 86 Fiero GT

I did not even plug the CD wires into the harness. I don't think there are any wires in the new harness anyway. I finished tonight and it all works. The ant. goes up when you turn on the unit. I did not play with it too much, but I'm not sure if you can get the ant. to only go up when the radio is on.

Have a mounting kit yet? I used the adjustable mounting kit made by Metra and sold at Advance Auto Parts. To keep the player from jutting out, I cut away some of the excess plastic behind the radio. Doesn't hurt a thing, and looks much better.

That's weird that ABC Warehouse didn't have it since thats where I got mine, just walked in and 30 seconds later I had it without any searching.

Thanks again for all your help! The radio is in and is working great. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Word of warning though...pay attention to the orientation of the antenna connection

on the back of your aftermarket stereo. On my Pioneer it was at the lower left side of

the radio. (when looking at the back of the radio) On the factory radio it's on the upper

left. On my install, I had to use a Dremel and grind away some plastic from the cage the radio

goes into. (so that the antenna plug would clear)
