Hi my name is Royle (Royal)im 28 years old and a car nut. most people call me wingnut. my dad has always wanted a 34 ford 3 window coupe to call his own. i tried to fined him one for years and couldn't get one but 2 weeks ago i found a 1930 DD dodge brothers 3 window coupe that needs to be restored so i bought it, so my dad could spend time with me and have a 3 window coupe. little did i know how rare this car is! ONLY 3788 MADE i am doing all the metal work on the car my self (my dad don't know how, but i will teach him some tricks)i've run into a problem, when we went to pick the car up the pasenger side door was in bad shape and even a master blacksmith couldn't fix this problem. the man told me the door came off as he was going down the highway and was run over. but im thinking he had about 50 steam rollers following him, its as flat as a pancake whats left of it. i want my dads dream to come true before he dies (of old age i hope)

(but i think he has cancer but wont tell me cuse he keeps talking about a will) so im reaching out for help to try and fined a replacement door i can make work.or have a metal shop bild one. any input or if you have a spare door you could sell me it would help me out so much. thank you for taking the time and reading this it means a lot to me to do this for him

That door is probably as rare as hens teeth!

Keep an yey out on Ebay, if yousee someone selling stuff for that year car email them and see if they have waht you want. I got a good radiator shell that way. No Ebay bidding wars either

i like the way you put that, i have never hered that saying before

i have been serching e-bay every day and still nothing yet

but i wont give up. he is so happy to have this car

he has been calling me every day with new ideas on it

like leaving the hood on or off and what motor to put in it ect.

it makes me happy just hearing him talk about driving it and all the looks he will get in it

"100 looks per mile" is what he says.

if you see any parts on e-bay that you dont plan on bidding on please let me know

thank you and if i can be of any help let me know. i will do my best to help you out
