Guest 60buick61
Am restoring a "packardbaker" and need to know engine color. Packard club listed silver for 58 but my car and the parts car had red blocks. Studebaker international lists silver for 58 Studebakers but sent red paint with the rebuild kit. Even though I have found seven sedans here in Phoenix over the past year or so, there hasn't been any color left on the block or they have been repainted...gold, black... Does anyone know what is correct? NO response on the Packard website where I first posted this question. Also, am looking for twin rear antennas, steering column boot, and power steering hoses (Saginaw unit). Thank you so much; I know the Studebaker people support these last Packards.
