Silver Arrow

Hi, new to this forum. I have an opportunity to purchase a '99 Riviera Silver Arrow and was hoping someone could guide me in what to look for, as far as authenticity, points, pitfalls and the like. What might one expect to pay for such a rare jewl in good to very-good condition?

Currently, I have a '98 but don't know much about the Silver Arrow, other than I have to have one

I know this really isn't a nailhead or oldie, but there must be someone here with good Riviera knowledge of the late vintage.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The wife and I own Silver Arrow #102 with 47k miles on it to date. We bought it a couple years ago and just recently decided to garage it and remove her from being a daily driver. An '06 Buick Rainier now holds that responsibility.

First, contrary to what most think, SA's were not necessarily the LAST 200 99's built and they were not built in senquential order either at least according to their VIN sequence.

They were shipped with the SA badging package along with the vehicle to the dealer who applied the badging at the dealership.

The distinct difference between an SA and a 99 Riv is only different in some extra cosmetics.

Silver Arrow logo on side behind each door in place of Riviera logo.

Silver Arrow logo embroidered in both headrests.

Silver Arrow logo front floor mats.

2 Silver Arrow brass key fobs.

Silver Arrow logo vinyl car cover.

Silver Arrow leather portfolio with SA logo Cross pen.

Silver Arrow brochure.

Silver Arrow logo front license plate.

Having all these items increases the desireability of the car thus increases the value. I've seen SA's sell for $10k to #15k depending on mileage, condition and completeness of accessories listed above. I can confirm that Silver Arrow #21 currently has 8 miles on it, never been registered and with all the accessories, seats still covered in factory plastic and original window sticker still applied which the owner wants $41.5k obo for it.

Alan Oldfield of the ROA publishes a Silver Arrow Registry. Please post whatever information you can provide on what SA # it is, VIN number, and mileage if possible. A city and state would be appreciated as well. Good luck on buying your Silver Arrow!
