Several of us brass car owners need the 12/24 nuts and matching slotted machine screws and I cannot come up with a source. I have heard these also called socket nuts. Any help would be appreciated! Guest HeyPop Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 I use these quite a bit on my wood scrollsaw projects. I get them in various sizes believe it or not from ACE hardware. I also used them onthe top bows of my 29 Huckster to hold the wood to the steel sides. I have found at times the suppliers give them brass coated tube nuts though so be careful.
