Today, we announce in advance that for fans of the Buick Riviera ? or for those looking for a collector?s edition of the quintessential big American luxury coupe with a hint of Euro flavor ? we have one for sale.

Not only has this automobile been carefully cared for and garaged, it has been driven less than 9,000 miles. It was purchased in April 1997, has had one owner, and is ready for its second.

About the Riviera

The model line dates to 1963. Restyled in 1995, the car was built on the same platform as the Oldsmobile Aurora. It was considered a standout among modern large luxury coupes in that its V6 engine valves are operated by pushrods instead of overhead camshafts. Buick made the supercharged 3800 Series II V6 engine standard on all Rivieras. In 1998, the company decided to finally pull the plug on the only 2-door model left in Buick's lineup, so this particular vintage is history. Specs are listed below.
