Guest BJM
God I hope so, I am planning a fall visit - at the earliest late August before school starts for daughter. But that would be my luck. That was an interesting story. I am sure it's an eyesore and not everyone in Detroit is an automotive industry preservationist but few (if any) of the orphan companies have 2 important shrines to go to, count Packard fans lucky - so the instinct is to hold on as long as possible. In my case, one good visit is all I ask for, to take photos and to put it into my head the logistics of how the plant operated and worked in that part of Detroit. All Christians, Muslims etc know about the Holy Land, Middle east but until you've been it's hard to describe from just reading the Bible....
