Trunk Latch ?

I have a trunk Latch, that I'm using, and I was told that this type was used on all Packards from '40 thru '50. Can anyone Verify that for me?

I was told the part # is 372345, but I couldn't find a number on it. I don't have a parts manual for those years and I couldn't find it on Kev's website, if it's there?

Rick, Looks identical to the one on my '47. I believe they are the same for the years you mentioned and almost certainly the Clippers'41-47. The part # in my 1947 Master Parts Book is 31.167

BTW, That's the best designed, strongest and most durable lever-type trunk-latch that I've seen. And I think it's all stainless-steel, at least I haven't seen any rust forming on it.

In fact, I Like those trunk latches so Much, I bought another, just now, on eBay.
