Guest JohnArthurSpinks
Doug,I have attached a photograph of a free wheel control knob and need you to confirm if it is the outer knob or the inner push button that you are trying to remove. If my memory serves me correctly the inner push button must first be removed (possibly by unscrewing, but not dead sure as I have not looked at one for years).Once that is done you can unscrew the larger out knob.Do you have any movement in yours at all and have you checked to see if it is not the inner wire cable being jambed into the outer.I know that the '34's had a problem in this area where the outer would break down ovewr the years and if the inner multi strand steel wire broke one strand it would cause all sorts of problems.CheersJohn SpinksAussie Airflow C9 Coupe
