Guest
Hi, Have any of you fine reatta owners ever put in a cutoff switch in your reatta for security reasons? How did you do it? My house was broken into and my second set of keys were stolen and I have a strange feeling my reatta will be gone by tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Guest
Sorry I'd needed some time
to look it up. However, for
a quick fix there are a few
things to do.
1) pull fuses for ecm
2) pull the crank sensor plug
3) change the firing order
just swap two wires
One of these should render the
car undriveable or run so
poorly they will leave it a
block away. ronvb
I put in a Viper security alarm system with auto -start and ignition kill unless alarm is deactivated.Plus it will replace that worn out factory remote. As you probably know these cars are worth more in parts then whole sometimes.
ronvb
Guest
Gotta give a plug for LoJack here. In Southern California, where exotica cars disappear to Mexico in a matter of hours, LoJack is the only way to go. $600 buys a lot of peace of mind.
Jerry Sellers
