1966 Mustang grille brackets needed.

I bought a 1966 Mustang grille on Ebay and it's missing the brackets on top at the ends.

They are riveted on, so I assumed they were present.

I guess I should have put my glasses on before bidding. "Upon further review" of the Ebay picture they certainly aren't there so I can't whine about it.

I really don't want to buy another grille, I painted this one black and it's just something to put on for a different look.

The car is a GT and I can't seem to find any definitive answer about whether or not they came with black grilles.

I distinctly remember seeing black grilles on GTs when I was young and the cars were new. Back when I could see.

Did '66 GTs come from Ford with blacked out grilles?

Does anyone have a junk grille with the brackets and is willing to pull them off and sell them to me?
