1989 Red/Tan Reatta for sale

I have to part with my beloved Reatta. We now have a third family member, and no place to put the child seat!

The specs are listed below per the form provided by the forum. My old username must have been pruned from the forum, but I just want give everyone on this board a big thanks for all the help you've given me over the last few years. I was honored to provide the scanned and PDFed version of the 1989 factory service manual on Reatta.net with permission from GM. Thanks a million!

Any Accident History? Yes. The passenger side of the car was scraped along the side of a city bus. Passenger door was creased as was the rear passenger quarter-panel right behind the door. The door has been entirely replaced from a matching color car and the dent on the quarter panel has been repaired. At the same time, I had the front of the hood painted where some small rust bubbles had begun to form. Also had rear plastic body panel re-painted due to fading and clear-coat wear. Looks beautiful again!

(Coupe only) Rubber surround molding for rear window condition? Fair. Body shop got it during waxing. Slightly dulled.

Headlight Motors Function Correctly? Yes.

Tail Light Lens: Gets cloudy after while. I wash it and wax it to return clarity and shine.

Interior Original? Yes.

16 Way Seats? Yes.

Works? Somewhat. The lumbar bladder doesn't hold air. Everything else works great.

Suede bolsters? (88 only) (Y/N)

Seat Condition? Good. No wear or tears, just slightly dark. Lots of life left in them.

Drivers interior door panel condition? Good, but speakers shot.

Passengers interior door panel condition? Good, but speakers shot.

Center console top armrest condition? Poor. The vinyl is totally coming aprt, but I have an entire extra seat cover if you would like to upholster it in matching leather. It would look sweet!

Door weather stripping condition? Excellent.

Headliner Condition? Good. A couple small holes, 1 cm or less each. Headliner is firmly attached to ceiling.

Carpet Condition? Good. It will be completely shampooed before time of sale.

Original Floor Mats: No, but they are matching color heavy duty mats.

Floor Mat Condition: See above.

Condition of Steering Wheel Leather: Fair. The leather has begun to wear, but is not awful. I just keep it clean with a micro-fiber cloth and warm water.

Sun Roof? No.

Works? N/A

Functional Keyless Entry? Not sure, I never ordered the remotes.

Both Remotes? No.

Problems with Electronic Dash items? No.

Power Seats Work Correctly? Yes, except for lumbar bladder in driver's seat. See above.

If N what are the problems (i.e. tape player, CD, speakers, noise): Front speakers are totally shot and rear ones are going. But hey, the car is 17 years old.

A/C Functional? Not sure.

If N describe problem: I have never filled the refrigerant. Previous owner suggested I convert it to R134a, but I never have. It's so cold here most of the year, I've never needed A/C, so I've never bothered.

Has the A/C been converted from R12 to R134A? No, see above.

Does the suspension require any attention? No. Rear struts are new. Front struts feel good.

If Y describe the part(s) replaced and when? I replaced the pads within six months of ownership. Had to replace a caliper after a year. Only driven in summer, so no wear parts have ben needed since.

Last Time Brake System Was Flushed? September of 2006. The brakes have gotten real squishy and the ABS doesn't work. So, I first flushed and bled the whole system. No change in performance. I assume the seals in the master cylinder are shot. This will repaired prior to sale.

Mechanical:

The brake problem needs to be fixed, which will be taken care of before sale, at no cost to the buyer.

Cosmetic:

The armrest nees to be re-upholstered. I will not take care of this prior to sale. The buyer will be provided with a matching leather seat cover, so that they have it re-upholstered after sale.
