CD player removal and strut question.

Hello again,

I'm getting an error message on my cd player and I need to remove the player. How do you remove the plastic trim around the console? I was afraid of breaking it, so I thought I'd better ask first. Also does changing the struts make a big difference in the ride? I've changed struts on other cars and thought there would be a more noticeable difference in the ride than there was. I'm sure it depends on what brand and type you install also. I guess what I'm asking is, is it worth it?

Sorry I can't help with the CD player. Could check the manual at Reatta.net. I haven't messed with the CD player of a '90-91 though.

About struts...do you feel yours are hitting hard and crashing over bumps, or floating?

The car seems like it should ride better. It just rides a little rough or hard over bumpy roads. I really having noticed any floating, but I haven't had it on any expressway yet. I've only had the car a little over a week now.

Thanks guys and gals,

I guess I'll leave the struts alone for now until I put some more miles on. I got rid of the annoying rattle from the rear brake pads and had a new exhaust put on, so it seems like it's riding better, it's psychological I guess.
