Okay, we all know that the TC is not a Race car. But I was being "Bullied" by a new Mustang GT this morning, and I was in my Recently aquired '90 16-Valve car. I was driving down Telegraph Rd., a 4 lane BLVD. There was an opening, and I had about enough of Mr. Muskrat being Right on my tail, so I went from 3 to 5, Reved, Dumped, Chirped, and went for the opening at the same instant the Mustang did. It was HUMILIATING for him. I steadily pulled away up to about 80, and then slowed down. He backed off, and started looking my car over. Oh! One thing I did notice the previous owner had done to this car is Cover the trim where it says Chrysler TC. From the rear all you can see is "by Maserati". Pretty cheezy...But I did spank a New GT in a stock TC.

Any other Spankings worth noting? Recent or aged?

<img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Ha, still 100% stock and Tony is out making trouble with the new 16V car. You need some upgrades and you will not believe the night and day difference <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Don't go giving away that the TC's can be fast though, better to be the unknown quantity <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Ps I'll have some timeslips for my TC in September, there is a nighttime street legal drags event that our SD/TD club is going to. Brand new track at California Speedway in Fontana, they are working on the lights...

I still have "Anger" towards all things that are Mustang. It goes back to my V8-Vega days in San Diego, and my Shelby Chargers here in Metro-Detroit. I've even owned a few Mustangs, thinking that might take the edge off. Didn't help. But I agree that these cars should be kept low key, and under wraps. The world has pretty much forgotten these interesting works of Automobilia. Let's keep them to ourselves!

Yes, I've contacted Rick Diogo. We have put together a 2-stage plan for my 89 T-II car, and a 3-Stage for the 90 16V car. The 89 will still be my more driven car. Mostly because EVERYTHING on it works, and it's got >100K miles. But after Stage 2 she will be at 200HP, and much more fun to drive than she is now. Work will probably start after I put them up, in November, and Stage 2 for both completed by the end of Spring. I'm HOPING to have Stage 3 completed on the 16V by Dream Cruise 2K7, but we'll see how things go. Stage IV is still up in the air.

I'm finding lot's of LITTLE things that need work on the 16V car. Hope that doesn't become a 2nd Career for me. Here's the plan:

Stage I

Adding the Stage II computer upgrade, new upgraded injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, K&N air filter, and one of my BOV kits.

Stage II

2.5 Inch Exhaust System

Stage III

Upgraded BOV kit, set of +40% injectors, 3 bar MAP sensor, 18psi boost (which will be on the computer), 52mm Throttle body kit, includes throttle body w/revised AIS motor, gasket, bracket, throttle cable, and cruise control servo w/cable

Stage IV

Upgraded Turbo

About this time next year I'll be a "Player!"

BTW, did I mention my Daily Driver is a '91 Subaru Loyale Wagon? Talk about Boring...
