Measures 12-1/2" square and 2" tall. Case is a bit ratty at the rear but mainly intact. Tins are all full and unused except for the fabric cleaner, which seems to have evaporated over 70 years in an atticThe original owner of this kit died in 1940. His grandson is recovering from a major soaking in a divorce and needs cash, fast. If you absolutely must own it send your very best offer asap, and be ready to close via PayPal if you are notified that your offer is accepted.I'm sorry about not having an asking price, but the kit has no comps in the market, and the tins are darned rare by themselves. You guys tell us what it's worth to you, and maybe we can seal this up tonight.EDITED: Sorry, e-mail offers to forumposts(AT)taoweb.com
Steve Johnson Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Sorry about delays in replying to the many afternoon emails - was at a job site later than expected and still cleaning water out of the basement......again.As of now the highest offer is over $500 and under $1 Million <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> If anyone has been hanging back this would be the time to step up. I will probably close this out later tonight, and will announce the end of offers in here when I do.
Steve Johnson Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Ok, we're over $700 and I'm getting emails pleading "don't stop it tonight I won't have email again until tomorrow sometime".Oy, I just want fireworks. Ok, ok, I'll let it run until "roughly" mid-day or early afternoon tomorrow (6-30-06). Those who know me that don't get an email response call me if you have "the" offer. I promise I will check all emails and reply prior to making a final decision as to the final offer accepted.Nighty-night. If you can't figure out how to reach me through this board try "things(AT)taoweb.com".
