Guest Rob1960
I've just purchased a beautifully restored [by former owner] 1936 Dodge. I'd be interested in hearing comments about whether to burn regular or high octain gas? Attached is a photo of the Dodge.
34 Dodge
Rob,Your car was made at a time when gasoline had significantly lower octane requirements than today's vehicles. Using 87 octane would be the preferred gas. I had to change the timing from 2 degrees ATDC to about 5 degrees BTDC to get adequate power from my 1934 Dodge with today's gas.Ken Sobelhypnotist01@sbcglobal
