ALF1 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 This is an interest-only post. I came across a '90 red convertible here in Fullerton with a FOR SALE sign on it. Turns out it belongs to a woman in her 50s who bought it several years ago as a lark. Talked with her and she said she wanted $5K; I told her $4K was a more reasonable price, and she agreed. Think the mileage is under 100K.Info I have: red (black mouldings) with tan interior and top, both of which are decent. Aftermarket stereo and wheels (appear to be late '90s Pontiac Bonneville honeycombs). New tires. Body straight, but in need of new paint. Didn't see any warning lights on; everything appears to work. Don't have a VIN, but can get one if the interest is there.I'd rate the car as average to average-plus; needs the usual. Let me know if you have genuine interest, and I'll put you in touch with the lady.-- ALF
ALF1 Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 No interest? Okay, I'll advise her to list it on AutoTrader and locally for $5K and see what happens.-- ALF
Guest kennyw Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 pictures always make one's heart beat faster. A shame that you didn't have a camera with you. Also, the state where the car is located. Ken
ALF1 Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Sorry, just assumed that everyone knew the O.C. (and its dreaded Orange Curtain) is in Southern California. And, unfortunately, it looks just like a thousand other red/ran '90 ragtops.-- ALF
