1926 Studebaker Rims with pitts

Recommended Posts

Ken,

I have a similar problem with shallow pits in my split rims. I recently picked up a can of Lab-Metal. I figured I would fill the pits with this and then coat the entire rim with either POR-15 or Rust-Encapsulator. The vendor claims that you can also powdercoat over Lab-Metal. If anyone has any better ideas, I would be glad to hear them. (Note: This thread probably belongs in "Pre-War Studebaker")
