Joe_Divito Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I'm thinking about getting a mid 60s Falcon, probably a '65 Falcon, and I recall a guy who worked on my '67 Mustang a long time ago saying in passing that a lot of the unibody rust repair parts (frame rails, etc) from early Mustangs can be used on equivalent year Falcons. I'm guessing that if it's true, it would most likely be 64 or 65 Falcons, considering the Falcon's roots with the first generation Mustang. Can anyone confirm if this is right? I never thought about it before (for example, comparing a 65 Falcon against a 65 Mustang side by side), but since I'm thinking about a Falcon, I'm curious to know if this is myth or fact. Thanks,Joe
john1964 Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Can't help with the comparison, but I've had falcon 'sall my life and never saw one with rusted frame rails.
