Guest llaramie Posted March 25, 2001 Share Posted March 25, 2001 My 91 Red reatta sunroof's panel has started to bubble through is a couple spots on the outside roof panel.<P>Of course, I am having difficulty finding a replacement panel. Guest Posted March 27, 2001 Share Posted March 27, 2001 I spent $1000 in repairs to have work done on both the panel and roof area around the sunroof. Few body shops will offer any significant warranty on rust repairs and within a year, my roof panel was again beginning to bubble. The best advice I can give is to have a new panel fabricated and installed as the cost of an OEM panel is $1000 plus. While sunroofs are a great option, rust is one of their biggest drawbacks due to water that gets inside the unit and sits there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
