Guest
Hey everybody! I have an '89 Reatta with the touch screen stereo/climate control/etc. etc. etc. The only problem is the cassette player doesn't work. I was wondering...is it possible to install something like a 6 cd changer in my car without causing any harm to the computer?? Thanks for your info! <P> Justin
Guest allbuick
I'm not sure the computer will mind but it will be quite a task to tie it in to the existing radio system, unless of course by "computer" you mean the CRT screen.
Guest
I have a 12 disc RF changer in my car. They just tap into the radio in the center console at the antenna jack. You set a station preset to the modulator frequency. You get a separate control for the play, stop, pause,... functions of the changer. Pretty simple. Guest
It's not a big deal to fix the cassette player. Generally the only thing that goes wrong is stretched drive belts. Any player I've ever seen, that uses belts (most all) need their belts replaced after a few years.
