Clayton Posted October 30, 2005 Share Posted October 30, 2005 My 83 Rampage has an electric cooling fan. I changed the switch that screws into the radiator. I can not find a radiator fan relay on the truck. Wiring diagram shows one. I understand that some did not come with a rely. The fan works when wired direst. Without it the engine will overheat. Otherwise if you want to drive and fix it later just wire a switch in the cab and turn it on manually. The only time you need the fan is under 30 mph or sitting at a long light.Well lunch is over, gotta go.ReuelP.S. in my family we call this a Wally Button, after my uncle who grew up on a farm and farmer habits never left.
