Guest Posted November 6, 2000 Share Posted November 6, 2000 in my trunk where the jack is stored there is an empty triangular space in the molded carpeting beside the jack. it appears that something was supposed to be here. does anyone know what this was? Guest Posted November 6, 2000 Share Posted November 6, 2000 Well, I liked the pie answer.<P>But on the serious side.<BR>My '88 came with a jack, a tire iron, and a lug nut key (special socket). Nothing else in the foam holding fixture.<P>I do believe this is a semi-standard part on buicks and was probably for the hub cap wrench needed on some (other) cars. My flat change diagram on the spare tire cover shows the use of a wrench to remove the cap.<P>I would not recommend using this spot for pies inless you have one of them fancy tupperware ® triangular pie boxes....
