RGILL Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 My wife has been working on having a Reatta Gathering in Lansing, MI the home of the Reatta. Through the years people have said that we ought to have one here.Yesterday she got a commitment from Dave Sheets, who owns the Cadillac Club in Lansing to host the event on September 16, 2006. He has a LARGE parking lot that will hold about 700 cars. The club is large and we could have a seminar in the morning like was held at the Buick 100 birthday at the SPO Division in Grand Blanc. Would there be any interest in this? He has a large screen that slides or videos can be shown on. She would like Reatta vendors to come and the parking lot is large enough to have demonstrations.The Club is real neat all done in a car theme and the food is good, plus there is entertainment in the evening with a dance floor.She is also working on things to do on Friday and a cruise on Sunday, possibly to Gilmore Car Museum. It's rated one of the 10best in the U.S.This will be for Reattas only and for anyone-show cars or everyday drivers.Any comments, suggestions or volunteers to help make this gathering be as good as successful as possible?
