Guest Posted September 30, 2000 Share Posted September 30, 2000 Had the same problem in my 88. The heads were stuck in the up position. It took a few moments of playing around with it, but, try to use a small screwdriver to push down on the tape to push the heads back down, then close it, and open it back up and it should open completely(and you will probably find you will have to break the tape off because it is all twisted around everything inside........Good luck.
