Guest imported_Debby
Well Walter made the first show with no problems. I drove him all the way about 10 miles. Had lots of people look at him. He is original, not restored, need lots of work. I really had fun driving him, I got the hard luck award not Walter. One mile out I had to have hubby go back and get me a pillow as I could not see over the steering wheel to feel comfortable. One of our car club members came by and thought Walter had died. He stoped and I told him nothing was wrong with Walter it was me, I could not see over the wheel. Unknown to me he told the story to the judges at the show and I got the Hard Luck Award. They announced what happened and that my butt was not big enough to let me see over the wheel so I had to use the pillow. Of course every body laughed!! It was a very fun day! c18-38
Well done Debby, that sure is a flash trophy for the hard luck prize.Next time hope to see you get one for the most travelled distance to a rally or show. Its all ways a buzz to see something so original being driven with out any worrys. Definitly one to be proud of. Well done.
