FMF Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 I need to find a wiper arm and blade to fit a cylindrical vacuum wiper motor (vintage 1925).The diameter of the mounting shaft is approx. 1/4". Guest imported_RAH Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 FMF, This wiper motor does NOT mount outside the car. It will mount on the inside. That little lever on the top of your photo is the manual operating lever. I believe you will find a small (appx. 1/8") hole near the end of that shaft with a set screw in the very end that will secure a "L" shaped rod perhaps with a spring loaded sheet metal device that will slip up over the end of the shaft to provide tension holding the rod back toward the windshield.
