72electra Posted January 3, 2005 Share Posted January 3, 2005 I just purchased a 2003 Impala LS and wondered if anybody could help me. I am interested in "blacking out" the rear tailights to just expose the round part of the lights. I found a vinyl kit on Ebay but it looks like it might look cheap and tacky. Did any of these year Implalas have the tailights blacked out from the factory? I have seen several on the road. Can you get quality fiberglass or plastic pieces aftermarket? ronvb Posted January 3, 2005 Share Posted January 3, 2005 I also own an Impala LS- although it is a 2001.I recall one model year after mine that they did offer that as an appearance group option.
