debbieNdenny
Greetings to all!The headlight switch on our 1930 DC 8 is not working properly. The headlights won?t come on at all and the cowl lights come on at random locations (from left to right extreme travel) of the position indicator lever on the steering wheel. Sometimes it?s very difficult to get them to turn off ? much jiggling of the lever is required. Sometimes they just come on while driving down the road. Sooooo, what should I do ? attempt to remove and disassemble the switch and hope to find the problem or try and find a replacement switch? How hard is the first option (diagrams/schematics available?) and where should I look for the second option? I already spent several hours testing the switch terminals for ?juice? in an attempt to isolate the problem. Thanks for any help!!
