Guest Teamsterdug
I have contacted a source for pre-bent brake lines for my '38 Special (4dr, model 47) who says that they have a set specified for a '39 Special. According to the Standard Catalog of Buicks the '39 Special has a 120" wheelbase vs a 122" wheelbase on the '38. What do you think? Will they fit or should I pass? Guest Teamsterdug
Thanks Howard. I have found out since posting this question that there are quite a few differences between the two models. thanks again. I have decided that I will remove all of the lines and take them to a custom fabricator to dublicate.
Guest Howard Purvis
Teamsternip,
According to my parts manual, the length of the pipe for a '38 Special is 25" and for a '39 Special it is 74".
Guest Howard Purvis
Teamsternip,
My previous post refers to the rear only, but the listing for the front shows similar differences.
