tcams76 Posted July 12, 2004 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I never posted that I finally solved the brake rattle in my '89.My mechanic traced the noise to two missing brake clips. The small metal clips attach the brake pad to the brake piston.I always hated the rattling noise when driving over bumps.I got two from Jim about eight months ago and that was the last time I heard the rattling.
