Packard8
Randy? ah now I see, I copied the photo & am able to see it full size. I love those ?56 400?s. I?ve had two in the last few years, both heather & white. One is now in Norway, the other sits in Geoff?s (1956Packard) garage in Canada!Cheers,John

6219_Rules
What a beautiful car. I love the colors...and the hood scoops. A really nice example. So you haven't had it out on the road yet? Thanks for the picture! Sorry it was a problem...I have had several problems loading pictures to the website too.
Packard8
Hi Geoff?.Thanks for the kind offer but I think ?Heather? has found the ideal home with a doting sugardaddy who will lavish her with lots of pretty part$ & trinket$ (like a set of wire wheels for Xmas?).I saw the Clipper on Craig?s site?nice car with a lot of potential (even if some Bozo did f@rt on the seat). Just don?t park it next to Heather?she?s prone to jealousy and might [censored]-slap the Clipper! Cheers,John
Packard8
Hi Randall,Thanks! It?s just sitting there like a chipmunk begging for a peanut. The original motor is pretty tired, but the one on the floor is a late production 374 service crate motor (no serial number) that I built up with all the mods for another project that is no longer around. Just need to repaint it and swap over the carbs & intake, valve covers etc. BUT?..while the motor is out I need to rebuild the Turtlematic, rebuild the front end, go thru the brakes, detail the engine bay?.then there is the matter of a new top & complete new interior?..then some new wide white radials on a set of wires?.well, you get the picture?.lol. Got any insider info on the winning lotto numbers this week? Cheers,John
6219_Rules
geez I wish I had! I need a good nest egg to redo my '56 Caddy. Of course you could always sell one of your other cars...that's what people tell me. I just don't know if I can part with the '47. Hmmm. Are you shooting for a show car or a driver? Just curious. I figure, if all goes well, I could get the '56 back on the road for about 8K. I just want it as a driver to go to shows and such.
55PackardGuy
John and all,I posted a new thread on the "Packard Motor Car Company" prototype. Included in my first post is the e-mail I received from them regarding the status of this project, the "1999 Packard."
