Guest Randy Berger
Randy Owen found these on ebay. I don't see the T-end he described. Started a different thread so as not to clutter up Xref. Make up your own mind. I'm not that familiar with Wizard brand - was that a Pepboys or Western Auto brand??http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...ssPageName=WDVWYFAM, Randy Berger
WCraigH
According to their website, Advance Auto Parts acquired Western Auto Parts in 1998. I don't know if Wizard brand was retained or superceded. The shocks shown on e-bay don't look like the front or rear shocks on either my 1955 or 1956.
RO
If you enlarge the ebay photo, you can see on this end where the bolt goes through the T-type section. Of course you do not see my bid on the item pending some confirmation they will work on the Packards. At least locally, Parts America took over Western Auto here before the Advance Auto acquisition. Wizard brand produced many parts including some filters, certainly electrical items like Voltage Regulators, compasses, and even lawnmowers. I should have known it would be FAR too easy to expect a readily available anywhere '55-57 chevy part to fit a Packard.
