Guest
now the bad news,if the shock lost oil, then the new jack oil you just put in will leak out. This will make a mess in your clean engine compartment.Since you were kind to the oil shock by adding a nice lubricant to lose all the internal parts up, after the oil leaks out, makes a mess, the old shock will bounce like a basket ball because it is foot lose and fancy free...You will need to get them rebuilt. Guest JT
Tommy's right, if it took a good amount to fill it probably all leaked out long ago due to bad seals, etc. You might get a day or two before you lose the fluid.
