I just purchase a 1936 Cadillac 4 Dr Touring Sedan. Not being a previous vintage Cadillac owner, I am not sure of the series. I believe it to be a Series 70. I bought this car from looking at pictures. I have yet to see it in person. I know it could use a left front fender. This one has no rust but a large dent and bowed. It also needs a rear tail light lens. If anyone can tell me where I can purchase the Cadillac logo,s for the front and rear bumpers or possibly have them restored I would appreciate it. I just registered on this site and am looking forward to being a part of it. Ed hurst01@insightbb.com

Welcome, Hurst01! And congratulations on your purchase, or as I like to think of it, your adoption. If you have not done so, you should also go to the Cadillac LaSalle Club Forum.

Both of these forums are incredible sites for information.

I will have to look up the information you are asking about but there are many places to have the work done. Tail lights may be found and the like can all be found on eBay, which is very good source. You should also look into buying the 1936 Cadillac Shop Manual and Serviceman Bulletins for those years. There are also Fischer Body manuals for the body work. I got most of mine on eBay. More as I find it. Please feel free to email me at lykeios56@earthlink.net. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
