Aanderson44
Ever wonder what it would take to have some company make a model of YOUR ride? Well, while we don't do "special" requests, Johnny Lightning, the leader in 1:64 scale diecast replica miniature cars does replicate cars that we can find."Your Car Is The Star" is our setup for locating really cool cars for which we either are doing new tooling, or already have existing castings, so that we can get a "beauty shot" of the particular car for use not only in replicating it as a diecast miniature, but also to print a collector's photo card in color to be packaged with the replica. We work pretty hard here to get the miniature in the correct color of the car being replicated, and it isn't necessary that the car be painted in a stock color, as long as we can determine the actual color for matching on the model. How does YCITS work? Really pretty simple: We look for clear, sharp color images, either digital or conventional photographs, of cars, taken by the owners themselves. If digital, the higher the resolution (megapixel) the better, prefer them to be 3mp or higher resolution, for reproduction. Once a car is chosen for YCITS, the owner is contacted, for the requisite release for publication of the picture, and we will gather any information needed at that time for color, and any special trims on the car.Johnny Lightning does compensate owners of YCTIS cars, by an allocation (free of charge!) of production, packaged models of their car, as done for the consumer, plus the opportunity to purchase additional quantities at a tremendous discount from the retail price one would see in stores. In addition, the owners of YCITS cars get to see their names printed on the photocards of their cars, kind of like having one's name up in lights.Currently, we are searching for the following:1959 DeSoto Fireflyte 4dr hardtop67 Plymouth GTX hardtop, any color except platinum gold or black70 Dodge Challenger hardtop.
