Guest imported_oldmitchell
I would like to up the redline on our 1914 Chalmers about 700 rpm because we do not trailer; we drive it everywhere it goes. Engine is a T head, 4.00" bore, 5.50" stroke. Any ideas?
Guest maxihc
If you have the power, what about an overdrive? If you don't have an enclosed driveshaft you could make another and save the original to put it back to original. There is or was a company in Healdsburg Ca. that makes them.Mitchell Mfg. PO Box 236 Healdsburg CA 95448-0236, (707)433-8329 or (800) 859-2088. Leroy
Guest imported_oldmitchell
I thought about overdrive but between the battery box, starter/generator and torque arm there is very little room. Also, I am thinking I would like to be able to take it to a few shows.
