WCraigH
Early friday morning I was out driving my 55 Pat around town and stopped at the local supermarket on the way home. It took me about an hour to get from my Pat to inside the store! We all know the reason: four different guys came up to me to have long discussions about my Pat and Packards in general. One of these guys said he had a Packard in his yard that "looked just like" my Pat. On saturday, I drove over to see it. It was a very sad sight: 1955 Clipper Super 4dr front view 1955 Clipper Super 4dr rear view No engine, trans or rear end, but the front grille, bumper and the dash all looked OK. Anybody need these parts? He also had these older cars there: 1948 Chrysler 4dr - restorable 1952(?) Chrysler Windsor 4dr (maybe restorable) 1961 Corvair (good front clip) 1964(?) Dodge Dart (very restorable -- maybe even runs) Lots more vehicles around his 10 acres, but many were basically junk or too late model to be of interest to us. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

So, it might be a little more setup time, but I suspect not much. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
WCraigH
Guy: <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Hey that front bumper look pretty good how much does he want for it???I might be interested... </div></div> I also have a front bumper off my 56 Clipper that's in decent shape. The advantage to mine is that it's off the car and apart. Those bumper attach bolts can be a real pain to remove, particularly in the middle of a field without power tools! email me, it you want to pursue this.Craig
