Guest
Will springs from like a 69 Olds Ninety Eight or Vista cruiser fit in the rear?
thegnugod
First you need to measure the pockets in the frame on your car an the recievers on the axels then measure a spring from the model you like . GM used the same springs on lots of cars just different load ratings . OH dont forget to measure the total height if its too tall your car will ride like a truck or stand with its trunk in the clouds . Gary
66400
Vista Crusier springs will work/fit however may make your car sit too high. 98's will not. Henry
442jones
I replaced the spings on my 72 Cutlass S a few years back. I used Moog heavy duty spings in the back with a set of Moog regular big block springs on the front. I do not recomend the heavy duty for the front. It will be to much spring and they will bulge out a little. I used regular performance gas shocks all around and the car set level front to rear. I have used this same set-up with a big block and small block in the same car. There was little to no difference.
