Guest
I have a 1964 Buick Skylark and the person I bought it from was trying to clean the car up, and cleaned the brushed look on the trim off in spots. What I would like to know is, how do I get it back to original?
Guest
If you are refering to the side moldings, that is silver paint (I think). So all you have to do is repaint it.
Guest
I had the same problem on my '64 and used Krylon "Dull Aluminum" spray paint with great success. Pretty darn close to the original argent that Buick used.
palbuick
If you can get a Eastwood catalog, they have a paint Argent silver, This is used on another GM product( cant get the name out, stuck in throat) Works great, and color is almost identical. I used it on my 66 Cat. for the grille and a few other areas.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com
Guest Tom
I also used the Krylon Dull Aluminum on a 64 Skylark I had a few years ago. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference from the original.
