Are you interested in Pre-T Fords? If so, please join us for our N, R, & S Pre-T Ford meeting at the Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) tent in the Red Field. The meeting is at 2 PM on Thursday Oct 9th at RWO 30. Our 1906 – 1908 Model N, R, & S Ford Group has been growing and several members also have other letters of Henry’s 1903 – 1908 models. Professor Trent Boggess will be speaking on one or more of the Pre-T models http://oz.plymouth.edu/~trentb/ModelT/n662/ModelN.html We are looking forward to learning more about the cars as he shares from his extensive research. Randy Mason, Steve Rossi, and John Forster all from T-Plex will speak about the early Piquette Ford Plant and the possibility of it becoming our home base for future meetings. The majority of Pre-T cars were assembled there, and T-Plex is managing the restoration of the plant http://www.tplex.org/mainav.htm We will also discuss the possibility of expanding our current N, R, & S registry into a listing of all Fords built during the Piquette era as well other group business. If you are unable to attend, but interested in the Pre-T’s, you may request a free copy of the newsletter for a summary of the items that are discussed. Floyd Jaehnert has volunteered to be our MC for the meeting. For additional information e-mail Hap Tucker by clicking on my user name "FordPiet" in the column just to the left of this posting. Remember to remove the part that says "removemefirst" from the e-mail address. I won’t be able to attend Hershey this year, but I am helping shuffle some of the paper work or is that "e-mails" to help support our group.

To reach additional folks, we have placed a similar note on the MTFCA, ACCA, etc. message boards.

I tried to make your first link work, but it come up not found. Also do not put brackets around the URL the software sees this as you wanting to read as text and not a link.

SalG,

Thanks for trying to make the link to Trent's 1907 N Ford site work. I compared the two but I don't see what is typed differnetly. But something is. Here it is one more time -- I clicked on it in the preview screen and it worked. http://oz.plymouth.edu/~trentb/ModelT/N662/ModelN.html

Thanks for all your help in making the forums available to us.
