Guest imported_Falconman Posted September 4, 2003 Share Posted September 4, 2003 Driver side headlight on '89 not opening properly when lights turned on. Motor/actuator keeps running but light only opens partially. Have tried adjusting the actuator by turning the adjustment knob but this appears to not help any. In fact the adjustment knob turns OK but does not appear to have any tension compared to the passenger side light. Is it possible something inside the actuator has broken or came loose? All external arms, etc. seem free and you can manually lift the light open by hand. Has anyone had this problem? Is the answer to replace the actuator? Anyone have one for the driver side?
