Auburn Production

I have been working on an update of an article published in 1997 in the New Engalnd Classic Quarterly and since posted on the CCCA website concerning the numbers of Full Classics built. Does anybody know of an accurate breakdown of Auburn production by engine configuration? Most sources seem to lump the fours, sixes, eights and twelves all together by yearly total. Even in contemporary publications the serial numbering is rather odd and I have not figured it out. Can anyone throw some light on the Auburn production numbers?
