Reattaowner97
Hello my reaction rod broke on my front control arm, I got a used one and new bushings the old one came out fine but I can’t get new one installed for life of me. If I don’t put bushings on reaction rod it goes right in, but when I put the new bushings on there isn’t enough clearance for the control arm the clear the mount, it needs to go 1 1/2-2 inches towards front of car. I’m very stuck. Anyone have any suggestions or has anyone installed control arms with new strut rod bushings before? Someone told me they drilled the rivet for reaction rod so it would have some movement then put a nut and bolt but seeing if there’s another way before I do that.
