This book is about the making, abandonment and eventual restoration of an 1927 Pontiac Big 6 sedan. 

 

It is illustrated with 9 hand coloured and printed copper plate etchings with a matching page of prose telling the story.

 

It was hand bound and published 1990 by Michael Atkin a well known UK Yorkshire Artist. This is 5th of 5 Artist's proofs of an edition of 56 books, it is signed and then dedicated and signed again on the front cover page.

The book is in good used condition, there is slight bumps to the front corners and the spine is rubbed slightly, nothing unsightly, It is 10 by 13 1/2 inches.

 

I feel this book should belong to someone who has one of these cars and who has most probably done the same work in restoring there's as has been done to the car featured in the book.

It is based on a car restored in Red Deer Alberta.

 

It originally sold in the UK for £550, I would accept $ 400 I will pay postage from UK.
