Charlie B.
Sorry this is not a Reatta question But, I don't know where to seek help other than Here.EDBSO has talked about Superchargers before, Mine has started to make noises as if it is grinding upthe bearings at the front end of the S/C Assy. Do I have to buy an entire assy or is therea bearing kit. And how big a job is it to repair/replace? I have never touched one of these things.Any help from the Reatta guys would be appreciated. Guest EDBS0
Good to hear from you Charlie. From the forum it sounds as though you have been having a good time travelling. Hope all is well. Squirrels had a feast on my Reatta spark plug wires over winter. How is my freon keeping? <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />Not a big problem with the Riv, only $279.00 AND you get to put a smaller pulley on at the same time. I have the 3.4" pulley for an extra 25-30 HP. You require a nose drive assemblie. Additional detailed installation instructions are here. You have an Eaton M-90 Supercharger and Magnuson is the only official representative of Eaton Superchargers for sales, service and aftermarket applications. Purchase here. We already have our Stowe hotel reservations for The British Invasion, features Jaguar this year. Only 126 days away! In theory they like you to completely remove the supercharger. I have read that you can replace just the nose "IF" you do not damage the gasket getting the old nose off. Good luck, Robert and Claudia says hi.
