Guest Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 can anyone help me fix the tach in my wifes 98 aurora?needle movement inaccurate (jumps), sometimes violent. peg to peg.2 dealers said, "inst. cluster". paid 1 for diagnoses.installed salv yd cluster. no help.since found electronics shop; they said, "of 25-30 we've seen maybe 5 needed repair, the rest were sensor faults.where's the sensor? ign pak? crank trigger? ecm? can i test it with a VOM?
