Roadster Willy Posted March 2 Share Posted March 2 Do you have a pic of what the one with a magneto mount looks like? I have heard of the Brush Magneto mount, but never actually SEEN one. I have been told that the Bosch DU-1 is the correct magneto to use. My understanding is that the mount was an additional bracket that mounted on the front of the motor plate, thus providing a location for the mag to mount, while attaching to the ignition drive that would normally have the Brush igniter plate on it if you were using the little round Brush "Distributor" or "Point Plate" or whatever you might want to call the small disc with the spring and interrupter on it.
